The programming advances month by month, guaranteeing consultations, check-ups, examinations, testing, vaccination, counseling, delivery of medication and transfer and referral if necessary.
The Ministry of Health of Jujuy reminded the population that, according to programming coordinated by interdisciplinary teams, actions on the ground continue in a sustained manner for the comprehensive care of families in the different regions of the province.
The deployments provide multiple free services for people of all ages, such as consultation with professionals, access to examinations and testing, scheduling of protected shifts, vaccination, counseling, detection of people with feverish symptoms that may be compatible with dengue, early detection of tuberculosis, diabetes, hypertension and all types of pathologies and their risk factors, as well as situations of vulnerability for the corresponding response.
Professional health agents, nurses, laboratory technicians and health educators make up the teams for direct contact with families in the “Door to door, heart to heart, next to the people” operations that take place every Tuesday and Thursday of every week.
The approach strategy on the ground is key to the Strategic Health Plan II carried out by the Minister of Health, Gustavo Bouhid, with the support of the Governor of Jujuy, Carlos Sadir.
