Ten days have passed for the victims who have not found the attention they deserve from the State Human Rights Commission, CEDHplanted outside the facilities of this defense organization where they are demanding the dismissal of the president Giovanna Itzel Argüelles Moreno and the visitor Laura Aguilar.
The reason why they are requesting his departure is because with his inaction “They are violating their human rights and do not address their complaints in a timely manner”point out the complainants.
María de Lourdes Rodríguez Rodríguez, who identifies herself as a victim, mentions that, “Argüelles Moreno has not stopped at all at the ECHR, nor has he sought a rapprochement to try to address them and solve the problems they are experiencing.”
He added that, on the contrary, he ordered new stamps to be made and now they have their staff outside receiving complaints and documentation, in addition to monitoring them, taking photographs of them and re-victimizing them, as they are women who are basically demanding that their individual guarantees be respected.
For now, they are in full dialogue with the local deputies to seek a solution to this situation, since in their case, since 2015, they have filed a complaint against the municipality of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez for not guaranteeing their safety and physical integrity. She explained that, next to her home, there is a party hall that holds events every weekend and plays music until dawn, and when she complained they only attacked her, hitting her on several occasions and even threatening to kill her, just like her friend. family.
He added that, given this situation “the city council of Soledad de Graciano Sánchez, nor the State Attorney General’s Office itself, FGE, have done anything, while their integrity and life are in danger from the stalking of these negligent neighbors.”
