From Argos they responded to recent questions that pointed to a alleged mismanagement of wastewater in the ‘Ciudad Mallorquín’ housing projectpointing out that these would be dumped into the ecosystem of the area.

The construction company denied the complaints that arose in local media in Barranquilla, described the accusation as “false”.

Likewise, they assured that it would be a “biased management of a response from Triple A regarding the management of wastewater” from the project.

They expressed that, Ciudad Mallorquín is connected to the public wastewater service system of the aqueduct, cleaning and sewage company and that “it meets all the technical and environmental requirements demanded for any urban project in the metropolitan area of ​​Barranquilla.”

Likewise, they pointed out that the wastewater management plan for this and all neighborhoods and urban projects corresponds to the entity providing the service.

So, according to the construction company, management depends directly on Triple A and gives it the same treatment as most of the neighborhoods in the Atlantic capital.

“The wastewater from Ciudad Mallorquín is managed in the same way as that generated by the majority of the neighborhoods of Barranquilla and some of the development areas of Puerto Colombia,” they stated.
