Starting this Monday, May 6 and until May 26, lobbyists will discuss Mayor Johana Aranda’s roadmap that will guide the city for the next four years.

“The rigorous review and commitment of each of you, honorable councilors, will be fundamental pillars for the approval of a solid document that is sensitive to the call of the Ibaguereños,” said Magda Herrera, Secretary General of the Mayor’s Office.

The official highlighted the importance of this document focused on addressing the needs of all Ibaguereños. In addition, the active participation of the community in its construction.

The PDM is made up of 5 strategic lines: ‘Culture and Society for all’, ‘Territory for all’, ‘Economy for all’, ‘Sustainability for all’ and ‘Governance for all’; as well as, 333 goals and an investment of $4.9 billion in the four-year period.

“We want to leave our city an effective roadmap to fulfill everything that we are envisioning, where our future generations have as a priority the enjoyment and quality of life of each and every one of the Ibaguereños,” said Daniela Cabrera, secretary of Planning.

For his part, the president of the Council, Arturo Castillo, said: “This is the course that the Municipal Administration of each of our communes has taken. Today, we begin a path where the development of our city is defined, the competitiveness that so much citizens require and demand.
