After the call of the organizing committee of the Tourist Tianguis that took place in Acapulco, Guerrero, the San Luis Potosí stand was chosen as one of the four most spectacular during the exhibition held in April, for its setting based on the Surrealist Castle by Edward James , which adds to the “Quebrada de Plata” award that it obtained for its design for work meetings and business appointments, reported the Executive Branch of the State.

According to surveys carried out on social networks, the pavilion was described as one of the most complete in projecting the attractions, culture and tradition of the Potosí territory, with an avant-garde design inspired by the Edward James Castle, of the Magic Town of Xilitla, in addition to the audiovisual projection, aspects that allowed it to overcome three rounds of voting in states such as Jalisco, Michoacán and Tamaulipas.

The Ministry of Tourism (Sectur) reported that San Luis Potosí was consolidated along with Oaxaca, Guerrero and Colima as the four most spectacular stands of the 2024 edition of the Tianguis Turístico, also generating interest from national and foreign service providers to learn about everything that offers the cultural and surreal territory of Mexico.

In addition to these international recognitions, within the framework of the Tianguis, San Luis Potosí received from “México Desconocido 2024”, the recognition of the Sótano de las Golondrinas, as one of the best adventure destinations.
