Tumaco is out of luck Until the 3 of June Tumaco, in Nariño, is once again the epicenter of the third version of the Savoring the Pacific Festival and where locals and tourists will delight in the best gastronomy from this part of the country.
In order to promote everything that the pearl of the Pacific offers and position it as a tourist destination in Colombia, the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism and Fontur will invest $815 million for the development of the gastronomic festival ‘Savoring the Pacific’, which will take place from May 31 to June 3, 2024 at El Morro beach.
There will be 60 gastronomic stands that will offer a wide variety of traditional flavors and typical dishes from the Colombian Pacific. Attendees will be able to enjoy authentic local cuisine and delight in 11 live cooking shows.

According to the Minister of Commerce, Industry and Tourism, Germán Umaña Mendoza, «Tumaco offers a rich natural, cultural and gastronomic diversity. “That makes it one of the most attractive destinations for national and foreign tourists.”

The initiative of the Knowing the Pacific Nariñense Foundation was born to contribute and help improve the image of Tumaco compared to the rest of the country.
Álvaro Balcázar, general manager of Fontur, explained that it is an excellent invitation to all gastronomy and adventure enthusiasts to participate in the Savoring the Pacific Festival.

June 2, 2024:
