The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, began this Wednesday the work program of his official visit to China, with exchanges held with authorities from that country.
In a meeting with He Lifeng, Vice Prime Minister of China, both parties agreed on the excellent state of bilateral relations and their strategic nature, the Cuban Foreign Minister reported in X.
Likewise, the also member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of Cuba reiterated his country’s support and adherence to Chinese global initiatives that promote the development of the Global South, details the Cuban News Agency.
Rodríguez Parilla described his meeting with Luo Zhaohui, President of the CIDCA Cooperation Agency, as productive, whom he thanked for his personal involvement and his systematic follow-up to issues related to the largest of the Antilles.
The official visit of the Chancellor will extend until June 9.
