Although news about the different types of scams that are carried out by cybercriminals to appropriate data and other people’s money are increasingly followed, in recent hours a viral video drew attention to the unusual exchange of audios between the victim and the hacker who took over your WhatsApp.
The images that recreate the entire conversation were released by the woman’s daughter on TikTok on the @micaalsilva account, which told how the events had developed, and the way in which her mother decided to negotiate with the scammer and even ask him for a job or a percentage of the money that she could manage to “steal” from her contacts.
In the viral video, the woman is heard saying: “No one is going to give you a penny, because unfortunately I screwed up everyone. Look for someone else because you’re going to waste your time. I’m honest, on top of that I’m doing the trick of letting you know. Look how good I am,” said the victim in the first audio.
Immediately after, he adds: “Ah, you know what, by the way I need a job, I’m broke.” And surprisingly she suggests: “If you can hook me up with yours that would be great. Let’s talk, what do you think?”
Given that, the scammer replied telling him that “I was going to take your offer into account.” By then, she continued talking to him, stating that she “loved” his good vibes, and even asked him for a second favor: “Won’t you give me back my contacts, I’m stuck all day, I’m bored and I have no one to talk to. ..?”
The hilarious dialogue continues with the woman’s apology because she was bothering him during “work hours” and reaffirming: “Don’t you want us to be partners? They take over my jobs, as they say… Home Office.”
