New MetroRed lines will start for free: Gallardo

In compliance with the commitment to improve mobility in the metropolitan area and bring more support to the people of Potosí with a safe, comfortable, agile transportation system, the governor of San Luis Potosí, Ricardo Gallardo Cardona, announced that the two new MetroRed lines, which will run along Valle de los Fantasmas boulevard (Carretera Rioverde) and Circuito Potosí, will begin operating free of chargein order to socialize this means of transportation.

The State President said that more than 40 years had to pass before a project was finally promoted to guarantee mobility, to solve a problem of the cursed inheritance that affected Potosí families due to the lack of public transportation routes, and providing them with modern inclusive transport unitswith spaces for older adults, women, people with disabilities and even for pets, In addition, it includes unique amenities such as Wifi and air conditioning.

The Valle de los Fantasmas boulevard line will have stops from Ciudad Satélite to Alameda,

While, heThe new 43-kilometer perimeter route of the Potosí Circuit will allow the mobilization of thousands of users to hospitals, employment centers and recreational areas such as the Potosina National Fair, the Labyrinth of Sciences and Arts Museum, The Park, and paradores in Capulines , Peñasco, Puerta Real, Calle 71, Plaza San Luis, Villa Magna and Papagayos Avenue.

Currently, there are two lines from Saucito to the industrial zone that will connect in Alameda with the new routes.
