Anniversary. The Association of Road Consortiums of Córdoba celebrated its 50 years • Agro Verdad

With a massive lunch held at the facilities of the Vélez Sársfield Club in the city of Oliva, the Association of Road Consortiums of the Province of Córdoba celebrated its 50 years of work.

The institution celebrated its half century of life with the presence of members of the consortia distributed throughout the territory of Córdoba, leaders of rural entities and provincial officials.

Juan José Fabbri, president of the Association, together with treasurer Adelqui Cotoras (also head of the entity’s Mutual) received the Minister of Bioagroindustry of the Province, Sergio Busso. The person responsible for the portfolio that is now the enforcement authority from government management to consortiawas accompanied by part of his work team

Busso recognized the task of the consortia and highlighted the articulated work: “You are the protagonists; We, the Government of Córdoba, come to congratulate, recognize and thank you. The roads in Córdoba can be traveled, beyond the limitations we have, because there are men and women, leaders who shoulder the commitment to carry out the task.”

It is worth remembering that upon assuming the administration of Governor Martín Llaryora, The institutional link passed from the Provincial Directorate of Roads to the Ministry of Bioagroindustry.

The consortia in Córdoba

Based on articulated public-private work (the members of the consortiums are all producers from each area), the efforts are aimed at the maintenance and passability of 58,000 kilometers of secondary and tertiary roads from the province.

Currently, the road consortia system is divided into 19 regional that distribute the geography of Cordoba, in which they carry out their task more than 280 consortia.

From the Province, in addition to Busso, the director of Agricultural Infrastructure, Franco Mugnaini, attended; Sebastián Laborde and José Luis Careggio, from the Liaison Commission of Agricultural Entities, also participated; and the mayor of Oliva, José Ibarra, among other regional and local leaders.
