The Aysén Regional Presidential Delegation authorized the match between Club Alas Portuarias de Puerto Aysén and Deportes Puerto Montt within the framework of Copa Chile 2024, scheduled for this Sunday, June 16, at 2:00 p.m. at the ANFA Stadium in Puerto Aysén.
Coyhaique.- This was reported by the Regional Presidential Delegate, Rodrigo Araya, after a meeting with the Subprefect of the services of the Aysén Carabineros Prefecture, Jean Paul Aravena Carrasco; the president of the Club, Luis Curiqueo, technical director Jorge Álvarez; president Anfa Puerto Aysén, Esquivel Bravo, and the regional president of Amateur Soccer, Patricio Saldías.
“We have reviewed the Carabineros report regarding security issues, which is what is our responsibility as a Presidential Delegation, and the Club has responded to all the points, making a very important effort to have all the pertinent security elements so that hold this match in Puerto Aysén. We wish them success, but we warn that we will be attentive to ensuring that the commitments are fulfilled, so that other important matches come safely and families can participate,” he indicated.
Luis Curiqueo Medina, president of the Alas de Puerto Aysén Sports Club, added that all points could be addressed, so all that remains is to prepare the details for this Sunday’s match.
“We are super happy, because we had this dream of holding the match in our town, above all, because we want to give a show that has not been seen in our region for a long time. We are grateful to everyone who helped from day one and, above all, that this dream came true. The idea is to continue growing as a community, the sports part and have appropriate venues to bring professional teams, to give good quality shows for the people who are going to witness this match,” he emphasized.
Jean Paul Aravena Carrasco, subprefect of Aysén Prefecture services, stated that “as Carabineros we are very happy and proud to be able to cooperate with this activity in Aysén, hoping that it will be a family activity. We invite families to attend safely, since all our efforts are aimed at providing safety to attendees. “People who attend must abide by the security provisions, designed to provide security to those who attend.”
Tickets have a value of 4,000 pesos per person, with pre-sale available from this Tuesday at the Club Deportivo Alas headquarters at Teniente Merino 346, carrying an identity card.
Meanwhile, the ANFA Stadium in Puerto Aysén has a capacity of close to 1,300 people.
