The Prosecutor’s Office and PDI carry out joint work to find the person who shot the victim.
The Public Ministry is conducting an investigation after a person was shot and found injured last Sunday in the Piedra del Indio sector in Coyhaique. The investigative proceedings were requested by the Prosecutor’s Office to the Homicide Brigade of the PDI and Carabineros of the First Police Station, as explained by prosecutor Luis Contreras.
“The Prosecutor’s Office became aware of a procedure involving a person who had received two ballistic impacts in his lower extremities. Subsequently, an order was issued to investigate the PDI Homicide Brigade,” the prosecutor explained.
“This person underwent surgery. At the moment, this case is being investigated to gather as much information as possible regarding how the events occurred and who the perpetrators would be,” concluded the criminal prosecutor.
