First Student Congress of Criminal Law

With the aim of generating an academic instance of student origin to promote the scientific dissemination of Criminal Law, a group of students from the University of Valparaíso and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso will develop the I Student Congress of Criminal Law, entitled “Criminal Law in the future : Challenges and projections”.

The congress will take place on June 12 and 13 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., at the University of Valparaíso and the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso. Specifically, on Wednesday, June 12, it will take place in Room 404 of the CIAE Building of the UV, located at Blanco 1931, Valparaíso, while on Thursday, June 13, the activities will take place in the Quinto Centenario Room of the PUCV (Av. Brasil 2950, ​​Valparaiso).

The activities will be broadcast live through the Instagram account @congresoestudiantiluvpucv

The inaugural keynote talk of the congress will be led by the professor and president of the Criminal Law department of the UV School of Law, José Luis Guzmán. For its part, the closing keynote talk will be given by the PUCV Criminal Law professor, Laura Mayer.
