In a procedure carried out this Tuesday, members of the Yerba Buena Motorized Patrol Division arrested a 25-year-old young man accused of theft of work tools at a construction site. Furthermore, after carrying out inquiries, they managed to recover the stolen items and apprehend his 24-year-old accomplice to sell these tools to another person.
Background
The troops of the Motorized Immediate Response Group (GRIM), belonging to this Division, were the ones who carried out these measures at 800 Tierra del Fuego Street, in the city of Yerba Buena.
From the Robbery and Theft Prosecutor’s Unit on duty they requested the background sheets of both young people in an open case for theft and concealment. In addition, they ordered that the tools (drill, grinder, nails and light bulbs) be delivered to the victim.
The actions of the motorists were directed by the head of this Division Principal Officer Alejandro Díaz, and supervised by the General Director of Citizen Prevention, Commissioner Inspector Sergio Juarez.
