LOGROÑO, June 12. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The CEIP Obispo Blanco Nájera contributes 2,036.20 euros and 117 kilos of food to the Food Bank, after holding its solidarity race in which the center’s students participated and in which a total of 2,036.20 euros were raised, contribution made by the students of the center for their participation in said event organized by the teachers and management of the school. In addition, 117 kilos of food were collected during the week in which their solidarity week was celebrated with the neediest in our region.

The Escolapios school has collected 624 kilos of food during the week of the Food Bank’s spring kilo operation. The Escolapios school in Logroño also collected food between several courses and in the end they obtained a total of 264 kilos of food in a new solidarity act for the young students of this school. They are regular in their solidarity acts with the Food Bank.

The IES Villamediana has carried out a food collection among its students throughout the last week of the month of May, with the final result being 87 kilos of food collected and sent to the Food Bank.

The person in charge of the Communication area, Carlos Ferrer, has thanked both the money received and the food that has been donated to the Food Bank “because they are the future of our society and they are very aware that there are families who suffer from hunger because they cannot carry to their homes the food that their daily diet guarantees. In this case we must value the future because they will be the ones who work and govern societies, but already very aware from a very young age.
