This year the study will cover 15 sectors, including the three main sectors of the regional economy: Commerce, Agriculture and Manufacturing Industry and the application of the survey will be carried out by telephone and in person.

What is ENADEL?

It is the survey that the network of Labor Observatories of the Undersecretariat of Labor applies annually at the national level, to gather information on the requirements and difficulties of companies in terms of labor demand, with the aim of obtaining information that allows improving public labor policies. , particularly better adjusting SENCE’s training offer and other services to local productive requirements.

Its main objective is to generate detailed information on the current demand for occupations, identifying hiring requirements and problems, in addition to addressing the impact of the incorporation of new technologies at work, including aspects associated with separations, hiring and labor reconversion. .

The target population of ENADEL 2024 is made up of companies that have started activities in the Internal Revenue Service (SII) by 2023, and develop some activity according to the preselection and that declared, on a monthly average, 10 or more workers, including fees. .

What is the purpose of ENADEL?

ENADEL makes it possible to obtain valuable information that will contribute to improving public labor policies in the region, particularly better adjusting the training offer of SENCE and other services to local productive requirements.

The responses and information provided by companies are completely anonymous, confidential and are protected by the law of statistical secrecy (Law No. 17,374).

What sectors does it include?

Agriculture, forestry and fishing; Manufacturing industries; Supply of electricity, gas, steam, air conditioning, water and waste management and decontamination; Construction; Trade; Transportation and storage; Accommodation and meal service activities; Information and communications; Financial and insurance activities; Real estate activities; Professional, scientific and technical activities; Administrative and support services activities; artistic, entertainment and recreational activities; Other service activities.

When will it take place?

Between June 14 and September 30, 2024, where a team of pollsters from the University of O’Higgins will be collecting information by telephone and in person.

This field work is based on surveys administered to suitable informants from a sample made up of 485 companies in the region.
