Under the premise of Governor Marcelo Orrego of being close to the people, the Ministry of Family and Human Development promoted this type of comprehensive territorial operations to offer basic state services for the different communities of the province. Thus, in a logistics and management work that is carried out by the Ministry’s Equity Directorate, the itinerant device offers the service of 9 ministries, including: Ministry of Government; Ministry of Health; Ministry of Education; Ministry of Economy, Finance and Treasury; Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Sports; Ministry of Production; Secretary of the Environment and Secretary of Security and Public Order, with more than 48 directorates and 2 foundations: Sanatorio Argentino and the El Castaño Clinic working together every day.
In this way, the operations were already organized in 12 departments: 9 de Julio, Sarmiento, 25 de Mayo, Chimbas, Iglesia, Zonda, Angaco, San Martín, Caucete, Ullum and Jáchal.
Carrying out more than 6,000 basic services such as the initiation of direct assistance files, the processing of the DNI, the SUBE, the Write your Home program, vaccination for children and the elderly, pediatric, cardiovascular and gynecological controls, dentistry, the management of the Single Certificate of Disability, Garrafa – Home program, PROGRESAR scholarships, sports offers, vaccination of dogs and cats, among others.
It should be noted that in some of these departments this is the first time that this type of inclusion strategies have been carried out, because as a state policy it seeks to ensure that the entire population has access to their rights and convenient benefits. This helps equity and comprehensive well-being by strengthening the ties between the government of San Juan and the populations, especially the most remote ones.
For this reason, from the provincial state it works firmly on the inclusion, progress and well-being of communities that have historically been marginalized. By focusing different resources and efforts on specific areas, faster and more visible results are achieved. These comprehensive operations are essential instruments for social mediation that seek to improve the life circumstances in sensitive communities through coordinated and focused work, achieving a positive and sustainable impact and their effectiveness is decisive in extending and reaching each and every one of the San Juan residents.
The operations generate new forms of management that respond effectively to the different problems of each locality. In this way, in each operation initiatives are added that are required by the communities. For example, Food Handling Courses began to be held for the janitors of the educational establishments where the traveling devices are carried out.
These operations are carried out twice a month in the province, with a schedule of procedures that people in the town where the device is moved can carry out and manage therein. Thus, the beneficiaries who arrive at the meeting point are assisted by social workers, where the pertinent data is taken and referred to the ministry that corresponds to the concern or need. And in this way the administrative solution is sought.
The operations, in this way, show a state that is close to the people, serving their needs and with all its departments proposing solutions for the daily lives of the people of San Juan.
