After 9:00 pm this Thursday, June 13, a new incident of violence against the Police occurred in the municipality of Cajibío, department of Cauca.

This is an armed harassment of the Carmelo township station, where rifle bursts are the protagonists in the middle of the darkness.

This is evident in a video published by Blu Radio in which countless detonations of firearms are heard that are countered by troops who requested air support.

Upon hearing the news of the clashes, the armed forces announced the deployment of the Aerospace Force and the reinforcement of troops to the area where the harassment occurs.

“Our troops from the 29th Brigade of the National Army begin offensive maneuvers to support our brothers in the Police, who are fighting against the residual organized armed group Jaime Martínez in the rural area of ​​Cajibío,” the institution assured.
