New Metropolitan Police strategy in Valledupar: micro-territories against crime

The Metropolitan Police of Valledupar, through its new service and targeting model, allocated two micro-territories for the municipality, whose central objective is to reach the areas and guide the community in the fight against crime and insecurity in order to convert these negative aspects into good coexistence, reaching various sectors of the municipality.

Microterritory number 1 was visited by the colonel of the Metropolitan, Alex Durán Santos, who visited the Centro, Cañahuate, Garita and Guajira neighborhoods, where he listened to the entire community. During the visit, an analysis of the criminal and statistical environment was carried out according to the information provided by citizens.

We are carrying out an approach with the community in these neighborhoods that make up the number one micro-territory of the city of Valledupar“said the colonel, who announced that in the middle of the meeting strategies were consolidated that will benefit the community by providing solutions to different problems jointly by working together as a team between society, authorities and the police.

In the next few days, the second micro-territory that covers the Las Flores, Dangond and La Popa neighborhoods will be visited.with whom we also seek to generate greater rapprochement and mutual benefits.
