The Municipal Director of Sports in San José de las Lajas, Guadalupe Xiomara Galván Arias, reveals that they are preparing a varied program of sports, recreational and physical culture activities to materialize during July and August at the service of the people.
“Children, young people and adults from the municipality’s capital and rural communities will benefit from the purpose of generating well-being,” asserts the leader.
Sports instructors and promoters will undertake the program of actions together with cultural specialists and other sectors to achieve an attractive and widely accepted proposal.
Galván Arias highlights that the National School Games are among the most popular options to be held in the first half of July at the Nelson Fernández Sports Complex.
Competitions in various disciplines, street games and exchanges with Sports Glories of the municipality also add to the summer planning.
To the preparations for the activities, they add the conditioning of the sports facilities and other educational centers intended for the delight of the people.
