Las Tunas.- Three months ago, the Muebles Ludema base business unit (UEB), from Las Tunas, began manufacturing furniture for institutions of the Ministry of Education in the province and others in the eastern region such as Granma and Holguín.
The creation of four types of boards of different dimensions for study areas, dining rooms and offices is among the entity’s priorities. in addition to maintaining active work to support the Ministry of Public Health and Tourism.
For the Maternal and Child Care Program, the UEB continues with the production of cribs for the eight municipalities of the province, a collaboration that will have greater dimensions in the coming months with the furnishing of health centers from the communities.
Alexander Rodríguez, head of Engineering and Development, told the Cuban News Agency who are currently working on the manufacture of furniture for the 23 and K hotels, with nearly 600 rooms, Metrópolis and the H2 and, in turn, began the construction of closet doors for the Corona hotel, all in Havana.
