César Poyatos: “The fraud of works done with AI is avoided if the teacher is in the process”

César Poyatos arrives at the Magisterium editorial office with his tongue hanging out. Added to his usual obligations as a professor at the Complutense University is his constant interventions to talk about artificial intelligence and Education.

In a few months it has become one of the national and international references in this matter. In fact, he will be a speaker at the conference on Teaching Dynamics with Artificial Intelligence that will be held at the Microsoft Spain headquarters on June 25. It is no longer possible to attend in person because the capacity has been full for days, but you can register to follow the day by streaming.

Poyatos rejects any contraindication that could be assumed for artificial intelligence brought to the classrooms. These are all advantages, he says, but it will force us to change our teaching-learning processes: no more homework, the teacher will have to be involved in the processes… I hope so.

Editor’s Note
A few hours after this interview was published, Meta announced on social media that it has paralyzed its intention to train AI with our FB and Instagram data in Europe.
César Poyatos let us know, we record it and we thank him.
