La Murga Celebrates 31 Years of Career with a Concert – News from Paraná

The event to celebrate 31 years of La Murga’s musical journey will be at the city bar where, at around 95, the band members began to give their first concerts. The Blues Bar, today called The Cave, located at Av. Gobernador Pujol 2011, was the epicenter of a notable university scene, where among Agronomy clubs and other faculties, a scene for local rock was beginning to take shape.

Thus, the concert for La Murga’s 31 years of history becomes relevant and they are currently preparing a special repertoire, with surprise guests to accompany the festivities. Tickets to the concert will be sold at the door for $5000.

Audiovisual premiere

Coinciding with the band’s celebrations, the local music series M Play of the Corrientes Play digital content platform will premiere the band’s three-song special, with versions of “Hacia el sur”, “Cada Tanto” and “ “Smell of the river”

In this audiovisual presentation, and accompanying La Murga, the artist Chizzo, a reference in local urban music, and the composer and keyboardist Nika Noir, member of Mango Dub, have a special participation.
