Through social networks, Atlético Nacional confirmed this Saturday, June 15, 2024, that David Ospina will once again defend the team’s shirt.
“The good son is coming home,” the football club wrote in its official accounts, in which it also published an exciting video to welcome the outstanding goalkeeper.
In the video, with which the news was announced, his mother speaks Lucía Ramírez, who opened her heart and dedicated a special message to the Colombian.
He recalled that his son left home “young and perhaps early, full of hopes, but today you return with the beautiful family that you have built.” From the bottom of his heart, Ramírez also commented that David’s return represents a dream that will allow him to have him home again, see him more frequently and enjoy his grandchildren.
“There were many Sundays that we went to see you all as a family, your dad, your sister and me. He will be leading the way as he has done since his departure. He knew this moment would come because the good son returns home. I love you,” he concluded.
