Vice Governor Antonio Marocco, and the Minister of Security and Justice, Marcelo Domínguez, presided over the inauguration ceremony of the new Chief of Police, Commissioner General Diego Antonio Bustos, and Deputy Chief Commissioner General Walter Toledo.

The protocol ceremony for the transfer of command took place in the Plaza de Armas of the Police Headquarters.

Minister Domínguez highlighted “the enormous commitment and management” of the outgoing bosses Miguel Ceballos and Pablo Vilte with whom he worked for more than a year and a half for institutional growth, police well-being and the safety of the people of Salta.

In this context, he highlighted the new authorities for their extensive professional career, the experience they demonstrated in all the areas in which they worked and the loyalty that characterizes them. He highlighted the importance of continuing to exalt the guiding values ​​of the Institution such as the commitment to citizen security, righteousness in actions, honesty, temperance and the vocation for service.

Diego Bustos He thanked the Minister and the Government of the Province for the appointment and recognition of his professional career, and indicated that he will continue with the guidelines established in the 2024-2027 Security Plan to promote prevention, work with the community, greater training, modernization and essentially planning and strategies to fight crime.
