Comfama and CESDE have joined forces to provide Antioqueños with the opportunity to discover and consolidate their passions through education. Through the Órbita Scholarships program, they offer more than 30 courses, diplomas and techniques to promote learning in areas such as electromechanics, hotel services, video game design, software development, marketing and installation of electrical and solar energy networks.
Until June 23, Comfama and CESDE have more than 1,300 scholarships for members of rates A and B, benefiting the inhabitants of Medellín, Bello, Rionegro, Apartadó and La Pintada. This effort reaffirms the conviction of the compensation fund in education as a path to progress, social mobility and care.
Since 2020, nearly 4,000 people have benefited from the program, following the learning route through CESDE. This educational institution, with 51 years of experience and 85% employability, has more than 73 thousand graduates and 82 thousand active students in 2023, contributing to social progress and business productivity through the appropriation of applied knowledge.
In addition to category A and B affiliates, beneficiaries will also be able to access the program, which includes technical labor training, courses, diplomas and virtual offers. Participants will receive support in institutional well-being, which includes mentoring and strategies to promote employability.
