Road personnel work to clear the route.

This Wednesday, June 19, the Ministry of Public Works (MOP) Aysén, announced the preventive closure of route 265-CH, Paso las Keys sector, between Chile Chico and Puerto Guadal.

This was due to the intense snowfall that caused the presence of 30 centimeters of snow and the staff would not be able to remove it during the day. The closure includes the beginning of the route in Chile Chico and Guadal.

The closure would be lifted this Friday the 21st at 8:00. However, during the morning a landslide of approximately 600 cubic meters of snow occurred, which caused the route to remain closed. Roads are working on site to clear the route.
