Vox insists on the need to cover Córdoba’s playgroundsCORDOVA
The Vox councilor in the Córdoba City CouncilRafael Saco has denounced the high temperatures suffered by playgrounds in Cordovagiven what he understands has been “a lack of foresight on the part of the local PP government” by not having covered those children’s areas, as agreed in plenary jointly by all groups.

Saco has estimated the heat that the infrastructures of what is known as Banesto Park in Santa Rosa they had at 11 in the morning. “That is the temperature that a child has to endure if he wants to play in this park, a useless park because obviously they cannot play here, they would suffer significant burns.”
The Vox councilor recalled that in October of last year his group presented a motion in the City Council so that the playgrounds were remodeled in whatever was necessary in terms of infrastructure and deficiencies and it was also included in said motion that awnings and shades were put up so that the children did not have to endure “these temperatures which today we see, being unusable during vacation time, during summer time.”
“The PP has done nothing”
As we have seen today, “regarding the Vox motion for this purpose that was approved jointly, The PP government in the Córdoba City Council has done nothingrevealing a clear lack of foresight and interest, since they have not currently been included in the budget or in the remainders, demonstrating once again the lack of management”
Rafael Saco has finally regretted that “the PP leaves the playgrounds unattended and does not comply with the projects, showing that they don’t care at all about what the children suffer in these municipal facilities. From Vox we will continue to demand that the Bellido Government clean up the children’s areas of our city so that they are in full use all year round and that children can enjoy them without any risk to their health,” he concluded.
