The specific point where the movements began was in Natagaima. The earthquake had a magnitude of 2.3 and a shallow depth of less than 70 km. The nearby municipalities in this area are Villa Vieja, Huila and Ataco, Tolima.
At 6:44 am, in Sopetrán, Antioquia, a mild earthquake occurred, with a magnitude of 2 meters and a superficial depth, also less than 70 km.
