Guillermo Coria and Mercedes Paz, supported by Agustin Calleri (President of the Argentine Tennis Association) and Florencia Labat (Head of Delegation), confirmed the official roster of the Argentine team that will participate in the Paris 2024 Olympic Games at a press conference.

Meanwhile, Coria spoke about the situation of the knights, especially the great absentee Horacio Zeballos: “I appreciate that Zeballos understood the decision. We were clear that there would be 4 singles and 2 doubles, especially so that Facu Díaz Acosta I took that place if 3 soloists entered. The players and coaches always knew the conditions.”

“The connection and chemistry in doubles is important and that is why we lean towards Molteni and González. I kept my word with Horacio Zeballos by calling him to the last Davis series and that the 3 doubles players are on equal terms. I understand the sadness of “Horacio for staying out,” expanded on the topic of the best Argentine doubles player of the moment.

“I have complete freedom to make decisions. At the time of the Davis Cup call, you always talk to the players, then it is called and then it is announced to the ITF and the press,” he closed the topic.
