The Chief of Staff, Guillermo Francos, met yesterday at Casa Rosada, separately, with the governors of Together for Change Marcelo Orrego (San Juan), Claudio Poggi (San Luis) and Maximiliano Pullaro (Santa Fe), whom he added to the agreements sealed with other provincial leaders to finish the public works that are paralyzed in their districts.

The signing of these agreements included water projects, sanitation and expansion of the drinking water network, urban improvement, construction of routes and roads, and expansion and renovation of school and housing buildings, among others, reported Headquarters. of Cabinet.

These agreements with Santa Fe, San Juan and San Luis are in line with the agreements of similar characteristics signed days ago with the provinces of Misiones, Santa Cruz, Catamarca, Chaco, Chubut, Córdoba, Entre Ríos, Jujuy, Mendoza, Neuquén, Salta and Tucumán.

This new batch of governors agreed in the days before Deputies have to debate to ratify the changes that the Bases Law had in the Senate and thus become the expected first law sanctioned by Congress in the Javier Milei era.

This agreement remains to be signed to complete works in the provinces of Buenos Aires, La Pampa, La Rioja, Corrientes, Santiago del Estado, Formosa, Tierra del Fuego, Río Negro and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. Some of this last lot are governed by Peronist leaders with a profile very opposed to Milei, such as Axel Kicillof and Gildo Insfrán.

After his promotion to Chief of Staff, Francos dedicated a large part of his agenda to receiving governors with whom he was in charge of unblocking part of the problems that plague the territories and negotiating support for the Base Law. (NA)
