The Mayor’s Office of Tunja calls on all entrepreneurs and merchants in the municipality to comply with the payment of the Industry and Commerce Tax (ICA).

Natural persons, legal entities or de facto companies that carry out economic activities, whether permanent or occasional in the city, are obliged to pay the Industry and Commerce Tax (ICA).

“This tax is a vital contribution to the economic growth of the city and applies to all economic activities carried out within the municipality, which include industries, businesses, services and financial activities,” the Municipal Administration stated.

And they added from the government of Mikhail Krasnov that it is necessary to take into account that Natural Persons with incomes of less than 60 million pesos must submit their annual declaration and pay before Friday, June 28.

Those who have not yet registered in the ICA registry can do so in the following way:

1. Download the registration form from the official website of the Mayor’s Office of Tunja. Complete the form with the signature of the legal representative or owner.

2. File the required documentation at the Citizen Services Office (first floor of the municipal building) or send it by email to [email protected] with the subject “ICA registration request.”

The documents to be attached are:

• Registration and Registration Form duly completed.

• Certificate of Existence and Legal Representation (incorporation certificate for consortia and temporary unions).

• Updated RUT.

• Copy of the identification document of the legal representative.

The Mayor’s Office of Tunja invites all businessmen and merchants to comply with their tax obligations to strengthen the development of the municipality. This tax is essential to finance works and services that benefit the entire community.
