The Argentine volleyball team qualified a few days ago for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and this Wednesday they met their rivals from the group stage at the Olympic event.

Argentina will be part of group C with Japan, Germany and the United States. Marcelo Méndez’s team achieved qualification in the last VNL Week held in Ljubljana.

The mode of dispute will be different in this edition, since instead of being two zones of six teams, there will be three groups of each team, of which the first two and the two best third parties will qualify for the quarterfinals. There the direct elimination table will begin that will lead to the semifinals and, then, to the matches for the medals and the Olympic podium

The 12 countries that will be in Paris 2024 are: Slovenia, France, Italy, United States, Brazil, Japan, Serbia, Poland, Egypt, Canada, Germany and Argentina.

Before the greatest challenge of the year, the National Team will play this Friday from 3:00 p.m. against Slovenia in the VNL finals in search of being among the first four of the tournament for the first time.
