The Alliance for the Coffee Sector of Cundinamarca is an agreement between the Government of Cundinamarca and the National Federation of Coffee Growers, which is estimated to allocate more than $30,000 million.

Coffee growers should know that the Government is at their side, trying to provide the best service from the idea of ​​starting a business to the placement of their products in national and international showcases, said Jorge Rey, governor of Cundinamarca.

The first 6,000 credit lines have begun to be consolidated in the agricultural sector; it is expected that as of July 1, the different productive units, including coffee growers, will benefit from the 4% rate subsidy on the Finagro line, which It will allow the farmer to access resources easily.

It is worth mentioning that the articulation of the alliance is aimed at improving the operation and enhancing the 29,000 hectares of coffee plantations in the department.

The main objective is to seek the transformation of coffee growing in Cundinamarca with a focus on quality, exploration of new markets, agroindustry and associativity, explains Néstor Robayo Rojas, Executive Director of the Cundinamarca Coffee Growers Committee.
