Currently, the provincial routes in the San Carlos de Bariloche area, such as RP No. 80, at the access to the “Teniente Luis Candelaria” International Airport, are currently passable with extreme caution due to the presence of ice and snow; the RP No. 82; RP No. 77 in the Chico Circuit; Bustillo Avenue (Monolito Zone until the junction of RP No. 77); and Route Ex 237 (Access to San Carlos de Bariloche, from the access to the Airport to the Ñireco bridge).
In the El Bolsón area, provincial routes No. 83 and No. 84 are clear of snow with the presence of water and mud in some sectors.
From Roads, extreme precautionary measures are requested when traveling on paved routes, such as RP No. 86 (Circuito de Mallín Ahogado), given the low adherence of vehicles to the road due to the intense rainfall recorded.
At the same time, from Delegation V – Los Menucos, snow clearing tasks continue to be carried out on the most affected routes in the Southern Region due to the heavy snowfalls during the last weekend, and it is reported that both Provincial Route No. 5, from Maquinchao to El Caín and RP No. 76, from Ingeniero Jacobacci towards the border with the province of Chubut, circulation is restricted, with traffic only enabled for double-wheel drive vehicles (4×4) and light single-wheel drive vehicles with mandatory use of chains.
Finally, Vialidad Rionegrina works in coordination with other provincial organizations, analyzing the different weather forecasts, anticipating adverse weather conditions and drawing up joint strategies for efficient containment in the face of inclement weather that prevails during the winter in much of the province.
