Burlando would arrive in Corrientes in the next few days
Finally, after a back and forth, the renowned lawyer Fernando Burlando will join the legal case for the disappearance of Loan Danilo Peña to represent the family. The professional media assured that there are “sufficient elements” to bring the detainees to trial.
Burlando, who has not yet officially become the Peña family’s lawyer, pointed out that he is in contact with a brother of the minor and has urged him to join as legal representative in the case.

Burlando also criticized the initial handling of the investigation, indicating that valuable time was lost and that action was not taken quickly enough. “I criticized the timing and the passivity,” he said. «There were issues that had to be reflected in the minutes, how to know what Loan’s customs were, how people got together to eat in a strange context. For me it looked more like a delivery than a family photo,” he remarked.
In relation to his possible participation in the case, Burlando confirmed that he will arrive in Corrientes this weekend to become aware of the situation and advance the corresponding legal actions. «I’m probably going to travel to Corrientes on the weekend, but there are already people from the studio. “Everything makes noise to me,” he said.
