The science fiction saga will once again be set on an island

We are just over a year away, if there are no changes in its release date, from being able to enjoy again on the big screen a Jurassic Park movie. After once again sweeping theaters, but not ratings, with Jurassic World: Dominion, Universal Pictures is preparing to usher in a new era, one that sounds very familiar from the first details revealed about the film.
Children and adults, trapped once again on an island
As we read in Variety, this seventh installment of the franchise will follow three adults and three teenagers trapped on an island, an island, we understand, full of these extinct creatures that so many millions of viewers take to the movies. This, in theory, should discredit the rumors that spoke of Jurassic City as the name of this relaunch of the adventure and science fiction saga.
Although of course, it could always be an island with a major city that has been evacuated due to an excessive presence of dinosaurs in the area. Anything is possible, but the fact is, after two films on “terra firma”, it seems that Jurassic Park wants to move away from the continent again to win the public’s affection again. This time with a script written by David Koepp, Steven Spielberg’s partner in Jurassic Park (1993) and his next project with UFOs.
Where there are quite a few certainties with Jurassic World 4, or Jurassic Park 7, or Jurassic City, is with its cast headed by Scarlett Johansson. The Marvel avenger will be accompanied by Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, Luna Blaise and David Iacono. The film premieres on July 2nd 2025 and will soon shoot its footage in Thailand, Malta and the United Kingdom.
