Seven Hours After Violet, Shavo Odadjian’s (SOAD) new band, releases its first single

Seven Hours After Violet, Shavo Odajian’s new band, have released their first single, ‘Paradise’. In this project, the System Of A Down bassist is accompanied by vocalist Taylor Barber (Left To Suffer), guitarists Morgoth (Winds Of Plague) and Alejandro Aranda (Scarypoolparty) and drummer Josh Johnson (Winds Of Plague).

The song will be part of their first album that they will publish through the Odadjian 1336 label in conjunction with Sumerian Records. According to what he said in a press release, with this group he wanted to return to his roots and make music. “super heavy, but melodic”after some time experimenting with other styles.

«I stayed away from any heavy music because System Of A Down is heavy», has explained. «Once I started Seven Hours After Violet, I had to leave that behind. I told myself, ‘Go with your instincts and do what you do best.’ For the first time in my career, I said to myself, ‘As long as I like it, I don’t give a shit what anyone thinks,’ and it was extremely liberating. “Seven Hours After Violet is the result.”
