The Chilean tennis player entered the fight for the title at the Challenger in Aix-en-Provence and makes a big jump on the ATP list.

Alejandro Tabilo (38th in the ATP) continues his great 2024 season and was one step away from a new title, after reaching the final of the Challenger Aix en Provence, in France.
The Chilean tennis player had to show his mettle to turn the result around and beat Monegasque Valentin Vacherot (131st) in the semifinals, 3-6, 6-1 and 6-3, in one hour and 45 minutes of play.
Tabilo already has a rival for the final in the French competition, because he will face the Spanish Jaume Munar (73rd), who defeated the Russian Roman Safiullin (42nd), 7-6 (4) and 6-3 .
The best ranking of Tabilo
With Alejandro Tabilo’s victory, apart from ensuring his passage to the final, he confirmed the best ATP ranking of his life.
In the live list, the Chilean currently appears in the 33rd place in the world, the best of his career, thanks to the 1,235 points he has.
If he wins the title in France he will take another leap, because on Monday he will appear in 31st place in the world.
