Huawei has expanded the availability of the Pura 70 series in global markets today, and now we can also see the teardown of the Pro model.

The popular YouTube channel, WekiHome, recently performed a teardown of both the Pura 70 Pro and the Pura 70 Ultra. The teardown revealed that the phones have a very similar internal architecture, with only a few minor differences.

One significant change Huawei made to the Pro model is swapping the positions of the main camera and telephoto lens. This adjustment was made because the sensor does not require as much space.

NFC, wireless coil and heat dissipation film are almost identical between the two models. Although the functionality remains the same, the flash cable has been repositioned between the main and telephoto sensors.

As for the sensors, the Pura 70 Pro has a 50 MP OmniVision 50H sensor, which has a size of 1/1.3″. It features a retractable six-panel lens with an aperture ranging from f/1.4 to f/4.0. During our hands-on experience, we discovered that there are nine different opening steps.

The motherboard of the Pura 70 Pro is designed with a double-layer stacked plate and is almost identical to that of the Ultra. Huawei has opted for a simple copper alloy for the vacuum chamber in this phone instead of the composite materials used in the Ultra, making the chamber twice as heavy.

However, the Pura 70 Pro features a glass panel on the back instead of synthetic leather, resulting in slightly less weight.
