The firm specialized in action cameras, Insta360, today presented the renewal of the famous Insta360 Go 3 that we were able to analyze not long ago. His name is Insta 360 GO 3and it is the smallest action camera in the world capable of capturing video in 4K resolution.
At first glance, the camera looks very similar to the previous generation. However, it has a large number of interesting new features. Let’s review them.
4K recording, Apple Find My support, and a variety of accessories
Insta360 has been able to build a 4K camera with a body weighing only 39 grams and the size of a thumb. The format is identical to that of the Insta360 GO 3, but it hides some tricks, such as compatibility with the Apple Find My networkwhich allows you to locate the camera in case of loss or theft.
It is also a toughest camera, since it is now possible to submerge it up to 10 meters deep, double that of the previous version. The camera is accompanied by several free accessories that allow you to get more out of its “mini” format, including a magnetic pendant with better heat dissipation, a “Easy Clip” that allows you to clip the camera to a cap or a pet’s collar, a pivoting bracket and a lens protector.

However, the star accessory of the Insta360 GO 3S is once again the Action Podwhich has not changed with respect to the previous model, and therefore continues to act as a case, remote control and charger, in addition to including a 2.2 inch flip-up touch screen which makes it easier to control the camera.
Its capture and recording capabilities have improved significantly. As news, it is now possible capture video at 4K resolution and 30 FPS thanks to its new 50% more powerful CPU. It also includes features such as the new MegaView FOV which reduces distortion, support for Dolby Vision recording or improved slow motion. Likewise, the option has been added to change aspect ratio of captures simply by rotating the camera.

The Insta360 GO 3S can be purchased starting today, June 13, worldwide. It has a price of 399.99 euros in its Standard version with 64 GB of storage that includes the camera and Action Pod, as well as a Magnetic Pendant, Easy Clip, Pivoting Support and Lens Protector.
Since the GO 3 Action Pod is compatible with this new model, those who decide to make the jump from the previous generation will be able buy the GO 3S without accessories for 239.99 euros in its 64 GB storage version.
