Chennai: The suspicious death of a 52-year-old man has been altered into that of murder, and a construction worker has been arrested by Koyambedu police on Tuesday.The arrested mason, Venkatesan, has been charged with pushing his house owner to death over an extramarital relationship issue.During questioning, the suspect told police that the deceased, Michael Durai Pandian, had picked up a quarrel with his wife and beat her up over the extramarital issue. Venkatesan, who witnessed it, questioned Pandian. Following this, they attacked each other. After the altercation, Venkatesan ran towards the terrace, and allegedly pushed Pandian. tnn
