The team led by Martín Demichelis easily defeated the Santiago del Estero team and started on the right foot in the Professional League. In a Monumental packed, the Millionaire won with a double of Facundo Colidio and the same amount of Esequiel Boat in the complement.
River was vastly superior to Central Córdoba, which played with one less player from 25 minutes into the first half due to the expulsion of Santiago Laquidaín had its goalkeeper, Luis Ingolotti, as an exclusive figure.
The local team could have won more widely on the scoreboard, but they did not take advantage of the benefits that the visit offered. However, River generated great scoring situations and ended up winning decisively while awaiting the clash on Tuesday, May 14 against Libertad for the Copa Libertadores.
On the second date of the Professional League, River will host Belgrano on Saturday the 18th, while Central Córdoba will be home against Boca Juniors on Sunday the 19th.
