Today the “Spinetta Day“by the hand of I dreamed that I was flying (Olga), a program by Migue Granados, Lucas Fridman and Cata Spinetta that took place at the Teatro Colón. The concert celebrating the work of El Flaco had great figures of national rock who performed unforgettable pieces from the Spinette songbook.

To accompany the artists, a stable band of musicians who played with Spinetta in the past was formed: Baltasar Comotto, Guillermo Arrom, Javier Malosetti, Mono Fontana and Sergio Verdinelli. Thus, great songs from different formations and stages of the musician were played, such as “Stay or go”, “Despiértate nena”, “Bajan”, “Continue living without your love” and “Barro perhaps”.

Among the musicians who passed through the stage stood out Abel Pintos, Benja Amadeo, David Lebón – cheered by the public – Juanse, Lisandro Aristimuño, Luz Gaggi, Mery Granados, Nahuel Pennisi, Rubén Goldín, Tripa and Ca7riel, who was in charge of a version of “Captain Beto’s Ring”, a classic from Invisible.

Ca7riel gave his personal style to this live version. Then, in conversation with the hosts, he revealed that it had been a challenge for him to interpret it in the key of Spinetta and that he usually sings songs by the guitarist and composer as karaoke.
