The Colombian National Team will define the final details to face the Copa América, where those led by Néstor Lorenzo will have as their last activity prior to the championship the confrontation against Bolivia, which will be this Saturday, June 15 in Hartford, Connecticut.
Faced with this key commitment prior to the Copa América, the coach of the Bolivian team, Antonio Carlos Zago, spoke about Néstor Lorenzo’s team, highlighting the work that the Argentine has had both in the friendly and in the Qualifiers, and hoping that the team from the highlands has a process the same as that of Colombia.
In a press conference after his team’s 3-1 defeat against Ecuador in a preparatory friendly, the Brazilian coach expressed how important the duel against Colombia will be.
“Colombia is a very important rival, a great team that has been building a history in South American soccer for many years,” said Zago during the press conference.
Beyond the next game, the Brazilian strategist valued the work that Colombia has done in recent years, stating that it would be a dream for Bolivia to be equal or better than the coffee growers.
“The most important thing is that the players are gradually improving, I hope that we can one day reach the level of Ecuador and Colombia,” he mentioned.
