Capacitar, the virtual platform with more than 400 free courses for SMEs and entrepreneurs, has arrived

The national government, in alliance with the private sector, presented Capacitar, the virtual platform that offers free courses to enhance the growth, competitiveness and innovation of SMEs, entrepreneurs and companies in the knowledge economy.

In the first phase, this public-private initiative will concentrate more than 400 training sessions offered by chambers, institutions and companies such as Aleph, Argencon, the Argentine Chamber of Medium Enterprises (CAME), the Chamber of the Argentine Software Industry (CESSI), the Empretec Argentina Foundation, the Telefónica Foundation, IAE Business School, IBM, Inicia, Junior Achievement Argentina, Microsoft and Oracle; in addition to training courses taught by professionals from the National Ministry of Economy.

All courses are in line with the demand and specific needs of the private sector such as digitization and incorporation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools; management skills and strategic planning; export and insertion in international markets, among many other topics.

With the aim of creating employability opportunities throughout the country, Capacitar will promote the development and professionalization of companies and entrepreneurs, promote the training of qualified human resources and strengthen the export of goods and services

The platform is structured in four main axes that bring together the courses according to their theme: ‘Animate to undertake’, which encourages the creation of new businesses; ‘Transform your SME’, aimed at the modernization and improvement of small and medium-sized businesses; ‘Enrich your talent’, which offers courses for personal and professional development especially aimed at topics of the knowledge economy, and ‘Conquer new markets’, focused on international expansion and exports.

The secretaries of Planning and Management for Productive Development and Bioeconomy, Juan Pazo, participated in the event; of Small and Medium Enterprises, Entrepreneurs and Knowledge Economy, Marcos Ayerra; of Industry and Commerce, Pablo Lavigne; the Undersecretary of Employment of the Nation, Eugenia Cortona, and the Undersecretary of Knowledge Economy, Santiago Pordelanne.

From the private sector there were representatives from Argencon, CAME, the Argentine Chamber of Software (CESSI), the Argentine Chamber of Commerce and Services, the Argentine Association of Brands and Franchises, the Argentine Industrial Union (UIA), the National SME Movement (Monapy ), AWS, Banco Santander, Fundación Empretec, Fundación ICBC, Fundación Telefónica, Globant, IBM, Meta, Microsoft, Oracle, Platzi and SAP, among others.
