Day One, a yacht with a spa, garage and heliport for 90 million euros

With the arrival of summer it is time to think about holidays, the beach, cruises or sea voyages on large private boats where you can relax and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Thus, many shipyards are presenting their new ‘ toys’ and designers who invite you to dream of unique and luxurious models, see the case of Jay Aberdoni, professional who has been in the sector for more than 10 years, currently based in Spain, who has recently presented his new creation: Day One.

Is about a superyacht 73 meters in length, an explorer model that offers a sophisticated line in which minimalism dominates in all its surfaces and is not as robust as is usually the trend in these designs. According to Aberdoni, he was inspired by ‘the elegant silhouettes of the most classic yachts, from the first half of the 20th century, but at the same time shows aesthetic and technical details of our era. Thus, it could be defined as a modern-classic that offers all the aesthetic advantages of a vintage design, but without the comfort problems of boats of that era.’

Its design is a composition of geometric paradoxes in which straight lines define a simple silhouette and concentric circles that outline the rest areas on the terraces, which include several outdoor dining areas and a bar.

To guarantee a unique experience on board, this boat has with floor to ceiling glass windows that flood the interior spaces with natural light and allow you to enjoy the views throughout the journey, as well as glass railings to offer an unobstructed image.

This super yacht weighing approximately 2,100 tons can accommodate up to eleven guests in its six cabinsincluding the owner’s suite with direct access to the bow terrace which has a jacuzzi and infinity sun loungers, 22 crew members in 13 cabins.

This yacht has a large garage, helipad and several bathing areas.

Beyond this, Day One presents a cinema room, a beach club with spa and direct access to the sea, helipad and a garage The space, which is characterised by a series of sliding wooden slats, can accommodate up to two 10-metre long auxiliary boats. In addition, this space can be used as an extra recreational area if there is no tender in it.

The propulsion system is not yet defined, but one of the most in-demand options today, now that we are moving towards a society that respects the environment more, is the diesel-electric hybridwhich requires ample space for batteries, which, of course, this boat includes.

At the moment, it is only a prototype, but if it is to be completed Its price would be around 90 million euros.
