After Leia almost kisses Nate before returning to Chicago at the end of the first episodes of “That ’90s Show”, the daughter of Eric Forman (Topher Grace) and Donna Pinciotti (Laura Prepon) returns to Point Place in the second part of the Netflix spin-off from the 2000s classic “That ’70s Show.” Of course, Leia reunites once again with her friends in her grandparents Red and Kitty’s basement, but she will have to deal with breakups and other messes. What will happen to her relationship with Jay? Or Nate’s relationship with Nikki?
Following the renewal of the series for a second and third part, on February 3, 2023, the co-creators and producers of both comedies, Bonnie and Terry Turner, spoke with Tudum about it. “Here at Point Place we are delighted to be doing a second season. We would like to thank all fans, old and new, for tuning in. We are really grateful“, they noted. “Going to Point Place last season was a real pleasure for all of us. We are delighted to return”.

SYNOPSIS OF PART 2 “THAT ’90S SHOW”
According to the official Netflix synopsis, in the second part of “That ’90s Show“, “It’s 1996 and Leia Forman has returned to Point Place to spend another summer of fun with her friends and grandparents, Kitty and Red. Leia and Jay are overjoyed to be back together after nine months away. She’s nervous, though, because Jay still doesn’t know that he almost kissed Nate.
Nate is worried that his girlfriend, Nikki, will find out too. How long can they keep the secret? Well, it turns out not much. And when the truth finally comes out, relationships are threatened, friendships are jeopardized, and the summer is at risk of ending before it has even begun.”.
In an interview with Distractify, Callie Haverda, who plays Leia, revealed that her character will be more confident in season two. “I think she’ll break out of her comfort zone with the things Gwen taught her and we’ll probably see her come back as a more confident person. She probably had even more new experiences, she met new people while she was away. Yes, I’m very excited to see what happens with her when she comes back”.
