News

The former participant of La Casa de los Famosos told what his difficult relationship with his father was like and the complexes he had since he was a child.

Culotauro was one of the most controversial participants in La Casa de los Famosos. His charisma, joy and personality made him one of the public’s favorites, but he also had a positive impact on his peers, even giving him something to talk about after striking up a romance with actress Diana Ángel.

The comedian was characterized in the reality show by forging friendships, but also creating some disagreements with other participants such as Omar Murillo and Julián Trujillo, with whom he had a strong argument after the actor called him mentally unbalanced.

Camilo Díaz, which is his given name, went through the microphones and was interviewed in the video podcast ‘La Otra Entrevista’. There he talked about his personal life that, among other things, he had great difficulties due to the insecurities caused by being born with one leg longer than the other.

It was very difficult for Culotauro to accept himself, his situation was so delicate that he did not even dare to look in the mirror. Díaz made it known that he grew up in the Plaza del Galán in the midst of many absences. His father was a butcher and his mother sold vegetables and according to what he says, due to his father’s love of soccer, he was expected to be a soccer player, a dream that could not be achieved since he was born lame.

Camilo Díaz classifies his childhood as necessary, since his father had problems with alcohol and that was precisely what he wanted to avoid in his life. Although the comedian went through very difficult times, his mother was his inspiration to move forward.

In the middle of the interview, Culotauro recalled that his father’s absences were in some way “necessary”, since they helped him understand life in a way, he even attributes his physical conditions to his father’s behavior. “For me it was very hard, sometimes it’s like as a child you blame yourself and don’t know if it belongs to you. I felt that, because I was born lame, my father became an alcoholic. “That was a triggering event in my family that let us know that life is not as simple as it seems.”he pointed out.
