María Fernanda Aristizábal was in charge of receiving Natalia, Dickson, Mapi, Karen, Santi and Kevyn, who were very excited to try all the dishes that were on the table.
The famous chef announced that he made three different recipes: The first of them was spaghetti bolognese, whose meat was on the fire for eight hours along with red wine, tomato paste, natural tomatoes and vegetables.
Secondly, he surprised with some macaroni and cheese that did not go unnoticed by the challengers and, finally, he surprised them by showing them a dish with pesto ideal for this type of pasta, as he added basil, pine nuts, macadamias and toasted walnuts.
Additionally, Vanegas gave the challengers some tricks to cook the perfect pasta, among them that you should never eat it overcooked, it should be al dente; Additionally, before introducing them to the water, it must be boiling and with a large amount of salt: “it should taste like sea water,” he commented.
